CIDA representatives meet Jam Kamal Khan
On 29th April, 2005.
The CIDA representatives came to Lasbela and had a meeting with the district Nazim Jam Kamal Khan and his team in Hub. The district Nazim gave them a briefing about Lasbela, progress of District Government Lasbela and other related issues. The team later on went to Uthal and had an inspection of few CCB projects.

Jam Kamal Khan meets Naimatullah Khan
District Nazim lasbela Jam Kamal Khan had a meeting with City District Nazim Karachi Mr Naimatullah Khan. District Nazim had sent a proposal to City Nazim for cooperation in disposing off waste material. District Government Lasbela has signed an agreement of putting up a waster energy plant in Hub, for which the organic and inorganic consumption should be at least 1000. City Government Karachi has a dumping place near Hub tehsil which nearly covers 250 acres.
The meeting was attended by the Nazims, President Lasbela Chamber commerce, Tehsil Nazim Hub, TMO Hub, Mohammed Gondal, EDO Planning and Finance Lasbela and few other representatives of Karachi City Government. Both the Nazim agreed in cooperation with each other on the said subject and suggested on having another meeting.

District Nazim meets TCF
On April 18, 2005, The district Nazim Jam Kamal Khan along with Mr Manzoor EDO Education and Zahoor Ul Hassan EDO Planning and Finance met with Brig® Arif of TCF. TCF wants to extend its campuses in Lasbela. The district Nazim showed his full commitment in doing his best for providing all assistance to TCF for creating more campuses in Lasbela. There are already two campuses in Hub.

District Nazim meets teachers at Quetta
On April 14, 2005, More than 25 teachers are underway an English language training course. On his recent visit to Quetta, Jam Kamal Khan and Mr Manzoor Hussain EDO Education visited the center where the teachers were taking the course. The district Nazim was briefed by the Head of the department on how they are executing this course and what the outline is.

District Nazim meets Governor
On April 13, 2005, Jam Kamal Khan met the Governor Balochistan on his recent visit to Quetta. District Nazim thanked the Governor for doing his best efforts for making a University in Lasbela and assisting it.

Provincial government cabinet meeting in Hub
The provincial government for the first time in history conducted its cabinet meeting in Hub. The meeting was held in the new TMA hub conference hall. The provincial government really appreciated the newly conference hall and its decorum. A day before, the BCDA meeting was also conducted in the same premises.

Sports Meeting
A sports meeting was carried out in Uthal under the chairmanship of Jam Kamal Khan. The district Naib nazim Mr Ibrahim Doda and EDO Community Development Mr Amanullah Lasi along with all the representative from sport sector participated in the meeting.
The main aim of the meeting was to call upon all the representatives from sport sector, share views and take their suggestion for better sports facilities in the district.

Budget and Development committee meeting
Several budget relating matters came under discussion and the meeting concluded.

Meeting between District Government Lasbela and SDRB
A meeting between District Government Lasbela and SDRB was held in the office of District Nazim Lasbela on 13th Oct 2004 at 11:00 a.m. The District Nazim Lasbela welcomed the SDRB representative and appreciated the initiative by P&DD GoB for considering District Lasbela for replication of SDRB models in the next phase. more

Lasbela Nazim meets Balochistan Governor
On 10th of July, the district Nazim Lasbela Jam Kamal Khan met the governor Balochistan. The district Nazim discussed relevant matters with the governor. The governor Balochistan has proposed of making an Agriculture university in Lasbela. This idea was highly appreciated by the Nazim and he showed his full support to it.

Intel “Teach to the Future” Meeting
Intel “Teach to the Future” meeting was held at Sareena hotel Quetta on the February 24, 2004 under the chairmanship of the honorable Secretary of Education Balochistan, Quetta. All EDOs (Education) of Balochistan were invited in the meeting. From Intel, Mrs. Naila Kassim and Mrs. Ratan Salem participated in the meeting.
EDO Education gave a briefing of the achievements in the field of computer literacy in Lasbela.
The honorable Secretary Education appreciated the work done in the computer literacy in Lasbela.
Mrs. Naila Kassim, Education program manager, Pakistan Intel innovation in education was highly happy, appreciated the achievements and declared that she wants to make Lasbela as model district in Balochistan in the "teach to the future" program.

District Budget and Development Committee Meeting
On January 29, 2004 a meeting under the chairman of the committee the district nazim was conducted in Uthal on the 29th of January. The meeting was called to see the financial, budgetary and development progress.
- Concerned EDOs were told to utilize the given budget efficiently and make sure that departmental matters and needs are taken care as soon as possible. They were instructed to purchase computer, printer, fax and other necessary items as soon as possible.
- The EDOs were also instructed to submit the reconcile statements of expenditure as soon as possible, so that the future estimated expenditure is predicted.
- EDO C&W and PHE were told to give notices to those contractors who are not doing work on time and submit a proposal to us for black listing them.
- D.O Live Stock was told to make a policy and procedure regarding identification of live stock in the district, especially the growing population of poultry farms. He was also instructed to inspect the poultry farms and see whether they are fulfilling the required controls to the chicken or not, so that the recent flues disease could be identified and controlled.
- Education department was instructed to submit proposal for utilizing some left over amount of ESR.
- All said departments were also told to submit comprehensive list of development works, so that, it could further be sent to the federal, provincial and district council in their future development plans.
